On Influencing Factors of the Critical Efficacy of the Selected Works in the Ancient Literature

文学选本是古代文学传统的批评形式之一,但是在批评实践中经常会受到主客观因素的影响。具体来说,在客观方面,选本批评效能主要受到选本自身机制、社会文化环境等方面的影响;在主观方面,它主要受到选家批评意识、操选目的以及自身素质等方面的影响。只有认识到这些制约因素,我们才能对选本的批评价值有着更为全面客观的评价。

Literary selected works is one of the traditional critical forms in the ancient literature, but, in critical practice, it is often affected by subjective and objective factors. Specifically, the critical efficacy of selected works is mainly influenced by objective factors of the mechanism of selected works itself and social cultural environment and by subjective factors of the choosers＂ critical awareness, selective purposes and their own qualities. Only by recognizing these restrictive factors, may we have an all--round and objective evaluation of the critical value of the selected works.
