介绍一种新型工矿电机车斩波调速器。斩波器用门极可控的ＩＧＢＴ做为开关器件，省去了可控硅斩波器的强迫换流电路。用单片机实现了斩波器的控制。文章还介绍了斩波调速系统所采取的电流保护策略。

A new type IGBT chopper for locomotive haulage is introduced in the paper, which uses gatecontrolled IGBT as the switch instead of forced currentswitching circuit in siliconcontrolled chopper. The control of the chopper is achieved through single chip microcomputer. The paper also deals with current protection strategy employed in chopper's speed regulating system.
