清代铜仁女性自杀的特点

Characteristics of Female Suicide in Tongren Prefecture in Qing Dynasty

清代铜仁府女性自杀现象非常普遍,已成为严重的社会问题。本文在概括清代铜仁府女性自杀现象的基础上,通过和其他一些发达地区女性自杀的比较,主要分析了清代铜仁府女性自杀呈现出的一些特点,主要有:动机多样但以惧辱为主、方式各异但以投水和跳崖为主、各年龄段都有但以青壮年为主、自杀原因不一但以动荡的社会环境为主。以此进一步认为,建立一个和谐、稳定的社会环境才是预防女性自杀的根本所在。

The female suicide was a very common phenomenon in Tongren Prefecture in Qing Dynasty.It had become a serious social problem.Summing up the phenomenon of female suicide in Tongren Prefecture in Qing Dynasty,comparing with other developed countries,this paper mainly analyzed some features of female suicide in Qing Dynasty Tongren Prefecture that was featured with diversity.The main motives originated from the fear of having been shamed;the ways they adapted were mainly drowning and cliff jumping;the self-slayers were mainly the young adults.The reasons for them to suiside are different but it was mainly caused by the turbulent social environment.As a result,to build a harmonious society with stable social environment was the essence of preventing female suicide.
