CNC Machining of Curved Surface Part Based on MasterCAM

MasterCAM软件是数控领域广泛使用的CAD/CAM软件。结合实例详细叙述了在数控加工过程中运用MasterCAM软件进行数控编程和加工的流程和步骤。首先分析零件图形,运用软件的计算机辅助设计功能建立实体模型,根据加工工艺要求设置数控加工参数,生成及校验刀具轨迹,最后经后置处理生成实用有效的数控程序,从而实现高效优质的数控加工。

MasterCAM is a CAD/CAM software widely used in the field of CNC.This paper described in details the machining processes and procedures in CNC machining and programming using the software in respect to specific examples.According to the procedure,the analysis of the figure of the parts was followed by the creation of solid model,where the functions of computer-aided design were used,and the setting of CNC machining parameters according to the processing requirements.Tool path was generated and checked hereafter,and practical efficient CNC program was generated by post-processing.Such a procedure can achieve efficient CNC machining with a high quality.
