In rencent ten years,as the changes of economic and political factors and environment at home and abroad,the adult education of UK highlighted the following characteristics： The clear research systems and organizations,to promote the development of adult education;the new Credit system,to bridge the academic and vocational education;the policies of attention to vulnerable groups,to promote social integration;the diverse organization forms of adult education and learning activities,to stimulate the enthusiasm of adult learning;the maturing legal system of adult education,to laid the cornerstone for the development of adult education.These characteristics of the British adult education provide a useful reference for our reform and development of the adult education.
