Basic characteristics of contemporary Tibetan art

Contemporary Tibetan art has distinct characteristics in terms of time and region. Viewed from its aesthetic style and cultural connotation, the main features are created by painters who use material techniques, modeling pattern and creation concept. Among which cultural characteristics are mainly presented through visual ex- pression of the plateau nomadic culture, Tibetan Buddhist culture and socialist culture. Contemporary Tibetan art has attracted the attention of the world with its strong regional characteristics, and has become a shining example of cultural diversity in the cultural globalization process.
