Objective To observe the function of T lymphocyte-associated costimulatory molecules CD28 and CD152 in the pathogenesis of severe pneumonia(SP).Methods The peripheral blood from 50 cases of patients with SP(SP group)and 50 healthy subjects(control group)was collected; The T lymphocyte-associated costimulatory molecules CD28 and CD152 were detected by flow cytometry. Results The CD28/CD152 value of SP group decreased significantly, compared with the control group the difference was significant(P〈0.05);The CD28CD3/CD3 and CD152CD3/CD3 value of SP group increased significantly, compared with the control group the difference was significant(P〈0.05).Conclusion The T lymphocyte-associated costimulatory molecules CD28 and CD152 have abnormal expression, and the CD28 and CD152 involve in the process of pathogenesis of SP.
