New requirements about teaching objectives and functions of web-based teaching are put forward due to the development of such kind of education, which results in the importance of the alteration of web-based teaching ojectives. This paper, from software engineering perspective, profoundly probes into the effects of the management of web-based teaching ojectives towards web-based teaching, analyzes the qualifications in the process of the alteration of web-based teaching ojectives, and sets forth suggestions on how to establish manual files corresponding to web-based objectives, on nailing down alteration controller, and on constituting the alteration plan.
