Research Review on Urban Land Sprawl in China

通过对相关文献查询和梳理,系统地评析国内外不同学者关于中国城市土地扩展的研究进展。总体来看,研究对象以大城市为主,且多为东部城市,缺乏对中小城市及西部城市的研究;研究主要集中于城市空间扩展特征、驱动力方面,缺乏对城市空间扩展过程及机理的研究;研究方法主要采用RS、GIS技术,通过构建城市扩展CA模型、SLEUTH模型开展研究;当前,经济发展、人口增长是中国城市用地扩张的主要驱动力,但由于地域各具特点、城市发展态势各具特性,影响因素各不相同、城市发展特征各不相同。在此基础上,对未来的研究方向进行了展望,旨在为今后城市土地扩张研究提供方法和理论借鉴。

Through the index and analysis of relevant literatures, the research progress at home and abroad on urban land sprawl in China were systematically evaluated. As a whole, the evaluation results showed that the research objectives were mainly aimed at the large cities and eastern ones in China, insufficiently at small - medium cities and western cities. The research fields were mainly focused on the characteristics and driving forces of urban space sprawl, insufficiently on its process and mechanism. And that the research methods were to adopt RS and GIS technologies to establish CA model and SLEUTH model to simulate urban sprawl. Currently, economic development and population expan- sion are the two main driving forces for urban sprawl. But due to the differences of regional characteristics and urban development trends, the driving forces and urban development characteristics are also different. On that basis, the future research orientations were prospected to provide methodological and theoretical references for future research on urban land sprawl.
