摘要
大学内部的教学质量管理是当前世界高等教育界共同关注的热点议题。对此问题研究的一个颇具价值的动向是,将关注重点从国别层次的宽泛阐述,转向对大学层次的教学质量管理的深度剖析,从某一个或某几个具体措施的分割性关注,转变为对某一个大学内部管理过程的全景式扫描,以案例研究的形式展开实证探究。本文对澳大利亚纽卡斯尔大学的个案实证研究,试图从观念、政策、机构、教师发展、评估等五个方面,对大学内部的教学管理经验进行探析,由此获得的启示与建议,对我国大学教学的变革与质量提高不无裨益。
Enhancing the teaching quality in university has become a hot issue in area of higher education research all over the world. To this research problem, a valuable researching direction is that rather than broad introduction of the nation’s experience and fracted analysis of some detailed measures, we should research on one university’s whole experience based on the case study method. This paper reflect our investigation results in Newcastle university in Australia, including different aspects and viewpoints, such as idea, policy, institution, teacher development, evaluation, etc. We hope that our research results will have some indeed valuable experiential insights to Chinese higher education development.
