Sanming is a traditional industrial city,manufacturing is an essential pillar for its economic development.With the title given by the State Council as the strategic position at the West Strait economic zone,Sanming strives hard to make itself an advanced manufacturing base.The article interprets the importance of manufacturing in Sanming＇s economy and its current developing situation,conducting an analytical study on its elements of advantages and limits,putting forwards an idea about how to make itself an advanced manufacturing base through promoting the development of its manufacturing better and faster from the point of view of enterprises and the government.
