PXI-E总线与TMS320 C6416 HPI口的桥接设计

摘要 随着桌面PC的PCI总线技术发展到PCI-E,自动测试仪器中基于PCI协议的PXI总线技术也发展到了基于PCI-E协议的PXI-E总线。本文以PXI-E频谱分析仪作为设计背景,提出了其总线接口部分的实现方法。使用PEX8311芯片实现了PCI-E总线协议,桥接出简单的本地总线逻辑,再用FPGA桥接DSP6416的HPI口,从而实现上位机软件通过PXI-E总线与DSP之间的高速数据读写以及实现对DSP程序加载功能。本文提出的FPGA桥接方案在项目实际应用中得到了验证,对于其他基于PXI-E总线的仪器模块的低成本实现也具有很好的参考价值。 As the development of PCI bus in desktop to PCI-E,the PXI bus technology based on the PCI protocol is developing to PXI-E which is based on the protocol of PCI-E. This paper based on the design of PXI-E spectrum analyzer propose a implementation of it's interface part. The chip of PEX8311 implementing the PCI-E protocol can bring a simple sequential logical so that FPGA can make a bridge to the HPI interface of DSP6416. It can not only satisfy the high-bandwidth between PXI-E and DSP,but also implement DSP boot mode by host computer. this method of FPGA bridge is verified in practical application. In addition,It has some reference value in other low cost PXI-E instruments.
