摘要
The usefulness of Chinese herbs and natural products as healing agents has been known for thousand years. And a lot of Chinese believe that Chinese traditional medicine is not a category of folk medicine, but a kind of well organized system. In the other hand many western countries refuse to admit the legal position of Chinese traditional medicine as it's not an evidence-based medicine. Even Chinese themselves cannot deny the Adverse effects of Chinese medicine and its preparations. However no one can point out the effect, no mater good or bad, of traditional Chinese medicine. In this paper, the author surveys this puzzle.
