This paper describes the combined control scheme of engine and hydraulic pump , according to the updated development of excavators, this scheme implements the functions, such as engine speed control, engine-speed-sensed pump control, automotive idle-speed switch and oil temperature control. This paper introduces and specifies the control contents and functions, and presents a way for further research in this direction.
