概述了中国的碳汇市场交易活动及其重要作用。尤其关注内蒙地区碳汇市场潜力及其开发,并认识到内蒙地区发展碳汇经济所面对的挑战。阐述了内蒙古发展碳汇经济的战略取向与政策保障,提出了进一步促进内蒙古碳汇经济可持续发展的政策建议。
The paper begins with the global context of climatic changes and how international society responds to climate change..Then provides an overview of the recent CDM（Clean Development Mechanism） activities in China.Special attention is given to current status and development of CDM in Inner Mongolia,and identifies the major challenges with respect to CDM development in Inner Mongolia.Finally,suggestions are given on how to further promote the sustainable development of in Inner Mongolia.
