万家寨水电站电气主设备中采用了国内首次对线棒导体角部做加大圆角处理以改善场强分布的国产水轮发电机；瑞士ＡＢＢ向中国提供的第一批新一代产品的发电机断路器；国内目前节能等级最高的１０系列主变压器及间隔数最多、规格最大的２２０ｋＶ等级的全封闭ＳＦ６组合电器；国外进口的２２０ｋＶ交联聚乙烯绝缘低烟无卤阻燃电力电缆。把所有１５．７５ｋＶ发电机电压电气设备与封闭母线看作一个整体标的封闭母线。
