国防教育必须要弘扬民族精神

National Defense Education should Promote National Spint

民族精神是以爱国主义为核心,团结统一、爱好和平、勤劳勇敢、自强不息等作为具体体现的一种精神。民族精神是一种社会意识,是一个民族区别于其他民族的精神特质,是民族大多数成员所认可和接受的,富有生命力的优秀思想品格,价值趋向和道德规范的总和。国防教育是以国防知识为基本内容的一种思想政治教育形式。国防教育的目的主要是使人们振奋民族精神,树立爱国主义观念。《国防教育法》第二条规定:"国防教育是建设和巩固国防的基础,是增强民族凝聚力,提高全民族素质的重要途径。"

Patriotism is the core of the national spirit which contains unity,peace-loving,diligence,bravery and self-improvement.National spirit is a kind of social awareness which is different from the ethos of other nations.Full of vitality of the outstanding character of thought,national spirit is acknowledged by all of the members.National defense education is based on the knowledge of national defense as the basic content of a form of ideological and political education.The aim of national defence education is to inspire national spirit and foster the concept of patriotism.＂National Defense Education Act＂ Article II provides that： ＂National Defense Education is the basis of building and consolidating national defense foundation.Besides it is also an important way to strengthen national cohesion and improve the quality of the whole nation.＂
