Hayashi Fumiko's viewpoint on love:the case with Floating Clouds

与从女权和社会性别角度解读林芙美子小说的研究者不同,认为《浮云》中男女主人公之间非对称爱情的产生原因在于作家对爱情本质的独特认识,即"男人追求爱情主要出自社会需求,所以自私而易变;女人追求爱情更多地出自自然需求,所以无私而痴情"的爱情观。

This paper,different from the studies on the novels written by Hayashi Fumiko from the perspective of feminism and social gender,held that the asymmetrical love between the two protagonists in Floating Clouds originates from the fact that the author herself views the nature of love in a unique way.From the viewpoint of Hayashi Fumiko,the men pursue the love mainly out of their social necessities,tending to be selfish and variable,while the women pursue the love more out of their spontaneous necessities,therefore selfless and infatuated.
