激活转录因子2及其在肿瘤中的研究进展

Emerging roles of activating transcription factor 2 in cancer

激活转录因子2（ATF2）主要通过介导细胞感受外界刺激而调节转录。多项研究显示ATF2参与恶性肿瘤的发生及肿瘤细胞的增殖、分化、凋亡、侵袭及转移等过程的调节。ATF2的激活可促进肿瘤细胞生长，但也有部分报道显示ATF2的激活可抑制肿瘤细胞生长。进一步揭示ATF2在各种肿瘤形成过程中的作用机制，可为肿瘤的病因学研究和治疗学探索提供新的思路。

The Activating Transcription Factor 2 （ATF2） mainly regulates gone transcriptions through mediating cellular response to environmental stimulus. Accumulating studies show that ATF2 is involved in tumorigenesis and tumor cell proliferation, differentiation , apoptosis , invasion and metastasis. Activation of ATF2 may promote tumor cells growth, however, there are several studies show that ATF2 might inhibit growth of tumor cell. Further understanding of the role for ATF2 in tumorigenesis might provide novel thinking path- ways for tumor etiology and therapy.
