摘要
评价理论是在系统功能语言学的框架下发展起来的,研究词汇人际意义的阐释性理论,对英语阅读教学具有指导意义。在评价性阅读教学的课堂实施中,对《全新版大学英语综合教程》中的课文进行解读,分别对课文中词汇、短语、段落等层面的评价意义进行了分析,研究结果发现,借助评价理论能快速、准确地挖掘语篇的主题思想,提高语篇鉴赏能力,从而优化学生阅读策略,克服阅读焦虑感,实现阅读教学监控。
Appraisal theory is an explanatory theory which studies lexical interpersonal meaning under the frame of the systematic functional linguistics, which guides English reading teaching. In the classroom implement of appraisal reading teaching, this paper tries to bring to light the theme of the text in New College English Integrated. It analyses the appraisal meanings contained in the words, phrases, paragraphs, etc. And the analysis shows that appraisal theory can help spot the main idea of a text quickly and accurately, appreciate the text in a proper way. And accordingly the appraisal theory can help optimize the reading strategies, remove the reading anxiety and monitor the reading teaching.
