摘要
语用能力的欠缺而导致的语用失误是很多EFL学习者难以逾越的障碍,也往往导致交际达不到预期效果。本文分析了大学生英语语用失误现象频发的根本原因,提出要培养和提高学生的语用能力首先必须从教师入手,通过优化现有的课程评价体系,把教学重点逐渐转移到培养学生的语用能力上来,并充分利用各种多媒体教学媒介以及丰富的真实材料等来增强学生的语用意识,帮助他们在跨文化交际中自然、得体地使用外语进行交流。
Pragmatic failure,caused by the lack of pragmatic competence,seems to have been an impassable obstacle for EFL learners to use the language effectively.This paper mainly discusses pragmatic competence,pragmatic failures and their causes.Then some strategies,which might be helpful to develop the learners' pragmatic competence,are concluded to provide implications for both EFL teachers and learners of different levels.
