摘要 梅岭,又名大瘐岭,为南岭山系五岭之首。梅关是粤赣交界的险关要塞,素有“岭南第一关”之誉,秦汉以前已存在。梅岭以梅花著称。古道与关同时出现,到唐初张九龄扩展岭路成坦途。 Meiling, so called Dayuling, is the top of Nanling(five mountains) range belonging to mainly part of Caledonian folding zone riched in metallic mineral resources, especially in tungsten. Meiguan is a strategic pass fortification from central plains to south of Nanling built before Qing Dynasty called Hengpuguan and so called' Nanling First Pass' in ancient. Meiling ancient road passing to central plains and Beijing from Guangdong in old times has a history as long as Meiguan, rebuilt by Zhang Jiuling, a prime minister in Tang Dynasty(618-907). Meiling was well-known because there were a lot of plum blossoms. Lingnan was a wild area in ancient. Many government officers were sent to Lingnan, leaving a lot of poems since Tang and Song Dynasties.
