近三十年以来,对于四川保路运动方面的研究成为学术界的热门课题,研究范围十分广泛,主要体现在川汉铁路国有、立宪派问题、革命派问题及其他方面。总体来看,该领域朝着研究方法多样化、研究内容多元化的方向发展,但目前仍有不足之处,如研究理论及视角单调、研究资料挖掘不足、研究内容局限等。
