Binding work of Chinese periodicals is an important link of periodical management. The binding quality of periodi- cals taken away from the shelves not only has direct impact on the quality of preserving back number periodicals, but also has effect on readers＇ searching and using of these periodicals. Based on practice, the paper analyzes and studies the difficult problems in the process of binding in order to regulate and perfect binding work.
