The Diaries of Jane Somers, Doris Lessing late novel. This article attempts to employ Wilhelm Dilthey and Henry Bergson＇ s life philosophy theories to interpret this novel, and to present the philosophical significance of life ： the memory, reality and expectation of life as well as the life＇ s linearity and circularity through analyzing the three tenses and tense intersection used in the novel.
