Discussion on People-based Concept of University Library

根据对我党十七大报告的学习,刍议了高校图书馆"以人为本"的科学内涵和实施内容,并从深入了解读者需求、加强图书馆建设、创新服务手段等方面提出相应措施,力求为高校图书馆按照十七大精神和科学发展观的要求,做到与时俱进、发展创新。

Based on learning Hu Jin-tao＇s speech at the Party＇s Seventeenth Congress, this paper discusses the scientific connotations and implementation contents of the people-based concept of university library, and puts forward some measures for university library to keep pace with the times and develop and innovate according to the spirit of the Party＇s Seventeenth Congress and the requirements of scientific outlook on development from aspects of looking into readers＇demands, strengthening library＇s construction, and innovating service mode, etc.
