This paper discusses some new requirements of further strengthening the ability of serving the teaching, seeking highly concentrated information contents, and diversifying the output forms, etc.that are faced by university＇s archival compilation and research under the new situation, and puts forward some new responsibilities for university archivists of establishing the responsibility consciousness, improving selves＇comprehensive quality, and strengthening the practical applicability of archival compilation and research, and expanding the forms of archival compilation and research, etc.
