Microcoulometric determination of sulfur is generally used for the determination of trace H2S in methanol, but some problems exist in its actual use. It has been proved through a large number of experiments that acidulationaeration spectrophotometric determination of trace H2S in methanol can replace the microcoulometric determination of sulfur.
