The preparation of utrafine powders, isostatie press technique and slow- speed baking are the key factors. Applications of isostatically pressed graphites in monocrystalline and polycrystalline silicon, atomic energy, EDM and non- ferrous casting are introduced emphasisly. Domestic market demand for the isostatically pressed graphites is analyzed.
