The quality of prebaked anode can impact the economic and technological targets of aluminum electrolysis. Poor quality of prebaked anode can pull down not only the economic and technological targets, but also the quality of primary aluminum, and further increase the consumption of anode. This paper analyzes the causes of the poor quality of prebaked anode and comes up with technical measures of improving the quality of prebaked anode according to practical situation.
