应用矫形力治疗骨性反颌

To cure osseous crossbite using orthodontic force appliance

为解决发育期中下颌骨骨性前突患者非手术治疗的难题，本研究采用上颌快速扩弓装置及头帽颏兜对上、下颌骨施加矫形力，在结合拔牙的基础上应用方丝弓矫正技术治疗，取得了令人满意的矫治效果。上颌快速扩弓效果稳定，上颌骨在扩大的同时无明显的前方移动；头帽颏兜改善了反颌前牙的覆盖，抑制了下颌骨的生长。由于上、下颌关系的改善，使通过方丝弓矫正装置来排齐牙齿和控制牙作长轴的操作变得简单易行。结论：应用此种矫形力有利于颌骨发育阶段骨性反颌的治疗和保持。

Objective: To solve the problem of non-operative treatment of the patients the suffering from developmental mandible prognathism.Methods: The application of rapid maxillary expansion and chin caps to the upper and lower jaws to get orthodontic force and edgewise appliance on the basis of dental extraction. Results: Rapid maxillary expansion resulted in no apparent anterior displacement of the upper jaw The anterior crossbite associated with mandibular prognathism was corrected by swing bask of the mandibula mainly using a chin cap appliance and the growth of mandibulae was checked at the same time; Control of dental alignment and axis in the entire arch was facilitated by the improvement of the maxillomandibular relationship. Conclusion:The application of the orthodontic force is advantageous to the treatment and maintainment of the mandible prognathism in the developmental stage.
