摘要
基于服务的架构(SOA)和Web Services技术的发展,为空间信息领域应用Web Services技术提供了技术保障,使得地理信息系统对外提供服务并且广泛互联成为可能。但是,某些特定的应用未必需要广泛的互联和过分的通用。本文探讨一种基于服务思想的GIS实现模式--级联服务模式。级联服务继承了面向服务思想的优点,较好地满足轻度耦合的集成应用。结合地理信息领域特殊的行业背景,级联服务能够有效缩短系统开发周期、减少开发人员工作量,是一种适度的系统架构方案。
With advances in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web Services technology,geospatial information systems are now possible to be interoperable and interconnected.However,for some specific applications,this over-stressed interoperation and 100% loose-coupling idea is not necessarily the best choice.For a specific application,the workflow from data to client-side interaction is generally not of 100% freedom.There is boundary of server,client and linking route.Taking advantage of these boundary conditions may improve system's efficiency.This paper proposed a new Web Service oriented model for integrating geospatial information services,cascading model.Inheriting the advantages of Web Service technology,cascading model best fulfills requirements of light-coupling applications.Considering the special background of geographic information industry,cascading model could shorten system development cycle,cut down development costs and become a right-size system architecture solution.
