摘要
康拉德的《黑暗的心》中体现出浓重的悲观主义和虚无主义色彩。本文从作者的生平、科学的发展和信仰缺失三个方面探讨《黑暗的心》里的悲观主义和虚无主义产生的深刻原因。
In Heart of Darkness pessimism and nihilism can be perceived either in the description of the ghastly and suffocating environment or in the character of Kurtz.This article aims to explore the deep reasons which cause the pessimism and nihilism from the life of the author,the development of science and the lack of religious belief.
