摘要
根据低压铸造圆盘类铸件的充型特点,设计开发了一套简化充型模拟软件,应用于低压铸造铝合金轮毂铸件的充型模拟。模拟结果与采用SOLA-VOF算法的模拟结果进行对比表明,充型过程及铸件温度分布合理,实现了为后续凝固模拟提供准确的初始温度场的设计目标。该简化算法运算时间短,可以满足实际应用中对运算时间的要求。
Based on the filling patterns of cylindrical castings in the Low Pressure Die Casting (LPDC) process, a simplified mold filling simulation software was developed and applied to the mold filling simulation of LPDC for aluminum wheel castings.Compared to the SOLAVOF algorithm simulation results, the simplified simulation results show that both filling sequence and temperature distribution of the wheel casting are resonable.The main purpose of this software is to provide a correct initial temperature distribution in the casting for the subsequent solidification simulation.The running time of the simplified mold filling simulation software is quite short and will meet the requirements of practical application.
