综述了冷坩埚感应熔炼工艺的技术特征、适用范围和操作特点；并介绍了多种用途的冷坩埚炉型，工艺参数和能量平衡；指出附加等离子体热源促进了冷坩埚感应熔炼的工业化应用与发展。

The induction melting technology of a cold crucible, and its application field and operational features are reviewed. Various kinds of cold crucible induction furnace, and their basic technical parameters and energy balance are also presented. It is pointed out that assisting plasma source promotes industral application and devolopment of the induction melting technology of a cold crucible.
