论高职英语教学改革与发展

On the Reform and Development of English Teaching in Higher Vocational Colleges

高职英语教学改革应从教学目标、课程设置、教学模式、教学评价和师资培养出发,结合自身的行业特色和职业需求,增强学生英语语言应用能力,以充分体现高职英语教学的实用性和应用性。

It proposes that the reform in vocational English teaching should be on the cultivating aim, the course design, the teaching mode, the teaching evaluation and the teacher training of the course, combined with the industry feature and the vocational needs. It also should focus on how to enhance the learners＇ ability to apply English, so as to reflect the practicability and utility of English education in vocational and technical colleges.
