交通运输长期以来都被视为国民经济的命脉。社会的发展离不开交通运输这一基础设施。公路交通设施的建设是经济社会发展的基础保障,需在新的发展环境下实现新的跨越式发展。文章从交通运输与经济发展的关系出发,初步探讨了交通运输对区域经济总量增长、区域产业结构调整、区域生产力布局的影响。

For a long time,transportation has been regarded as the lifeblood of the national economy,and the social development is inseparable from the transport infrastructure.The construction of highway transport facilities is the foundation of economic security and social development,the new leap-forward development should be achieved under the new development conditions.The effect of transportation on the growth of total regional economy,the adjustment of regional industrial structure and the distribution of regional productive forces was discussed in this article from the relation between transportation and economic development.
