In this paper,the writer analyzes the advantages of the discourse approach in college English teaching,states in detail the methods of the discourse approach in College English Teaching,puts forward that teaching mentality should be improved and discourse approach be adopted,so that students’ comprehensive ability of English manipulation could be cultivated in a higher and level.
