The main factors affecting the adjustment of the height of couplers during depot repair of railway freight cars are analyzed.A new method to determine the thickness of center plate pad is put forward to improve the one-time coincidence rate of coupler height after completion of the whole car during depot repair,so as to improve the efficiency of depot repair of cars.
