A Research on the Simplified Characters in the Book Fu Gu Bian

汉字简化的历史悠久,张有《复古编》的简体字呈现出"弃字源俗"和"存简弃繁"两个现象。该书中被否定的简体字大多来源于前代的俗字。另外一种情况是字头本身就是现行简体字,后来出现过一段时间的繁体字体,张有在《复古编》中维护了简体字形,而对繁体字形持否定态度。

There is a long tradition for using simplified Chinese characters,and in the book Fu Gu Bian by Zhang You,there is a negative attitude towards complicated characters in ancient times.With such an attitude,the author of the book has abandoned the complicated characters popular in the ancient times,and preserved the simplified characters existed as an initial word in ancient times.
