早熟西瓜新品种州职1号的选育

A New F_1 Hybrid Watermelon with Early Maturity —— Zhouzhi No.1

州职1号是湖南省湘西民族职业技术学院育成的杂交一代早熟、丰产、抗裂果、中果型西瓜新品种。全生育期95d左右,果实发育期28d左右。植株长势强健,抗逆性强,易坐果。果实圆形,单果质量3～4kg,外观圆整光滑;果皮绿色,上覆墨绿锯齿条带;瓤色鲜红,质脆爽口,中心可溶性固形物11.4%,边部8%;皮厚1.1cm,薄而韧,耐贮运;商品率高。露地栽培667m2定植450～550株,商品瓜产量3000kg左右。适宜在湘、鄂、川、黔等同类生态条件地区栽培。

Zhouzhi No. 1 is a new hybrid developed by crossing inbred line ZA21-7 with ZB88-12. It has early maturity and produce high yield and medium size fruit. The whole growing period is about 95 days and fruit matures 28 days from flowing. The plant is vigorous and has good fruit set ability. The average fruit weight is 3-4 kg. The fruit is globe shaped with green skin and dark green narrow stripes. The rind is durable with 1.1 cm in thickness. The fresh is red and crisp with center soluble solids 11.4% and 8% near skin. It produces highly marketable fruit. 667 m2 field is 450-550 in open field and 667 m2 yield is about 3 000 kg. It is suitable for commercial production in Hunan,Hubei,Sichuan,Yunnan provinces and other areas with similar climate conditions.
