摘要
研究了电弧炉碳热还原氧化钛和氧化硼制取二硼化钛的方法,制备出相对纯度大于95%的二硼化钛.这种方法利用电弧炉的能量集中的优点,使碳热还原反应瞬间完成,具有很高的生产效率.由这种方法制备的二硼化钛应用于铝电解工业中。
The carbothermic method of preparation for
titanium diboride with titanium oxide and boron oxide in an arc furnace is studied. The purity of
prepared titanium dioride is over 95%. The energe concentration, an advantage of arc furnace is
utilized to achieve twinkling completion of carbothermic reaction and high productivity. The
titanium diboride prepared by the method is used as inert cathode material in aluminum
electrolytic cell.
