介绍在焊接CCT图分析基础上研制的最佳焊接规范选择专家系统ESW51的特点和功能，以及理论基础、推理机构等．系统可在IBM－PC及其兼容机上运行，机构合理，人机接口友善，可利用屏幕图形直接进行研究，并可打印输出标准形式的焊接工艺说明书（WPS）．全过程以人机对话方式进行，信息丰富、使用方便.

In this paper、the characteristic and function of expert system ESW51 for selcting optimum weldingstandard is introduced, when the theoritical basis and introduced, when the theoritical basis and inference mechnism of the system is described. The system can be operated on IBM-PC, Its structure design is rational, man-machine interface is frindly, content is rich. On-screen graph can be used to research. The standard WPS can be input and taped. The all process conducts with man-machine interaction. The system is convenient, reliale, pratical.
