During the period of ＂Great Leap Forward＂ in 1950s,novels by workers were very popular.The second generation worker writers had deep understandings and feelings about the life of individual workers because they themselves were from the grassroots and had rich experience as workers,so that the short stories written by them displayed their individualized voices in the age of mainstream theme.The personalized character depicting,love description and individual reflection which are highlighted in the novels imply the writers’ rational thinking and relatively independent personalities.This is especially invaluable.
