摘要
《妻妾成群》是苏童小说的代表作之一,作者通过陈佐千"四太太颂莲"的悲剧故事,不仅生动地反映了中国女性宿命人生的人格缺陷,同时也深刻地揭示了中国传统"阴性文化"的可怕力量。高墙深院内陈家女人之间明争暗斗的"邀宠"角逐,戏剧化地演绎着中国封建权力机制复杂而又隐匿的历史传统,陈家大院中那口深不可测的黑暗之"井",恰恰暗示着作者对于鲁迅"染缸"理论的慨然认同。
Wives and Concubines in Flocks is one of Su Tong’s representative works.Through the tragedy of Shonglian,the fourth wife of Chen Zhuoqian,the novel vividly reflects the personality drawbacks of Chinese females and profoundly unveils the terrible power of the traditional feminine culture.The overt or veiled struggle for favor between the women in the courtyard is an expression of the complicated hidden historical tradition of feudalist Chinese power mechanism.The immeasurably deep dark"well" in the Chen’s courtyard implies the author’s identification with Lu Xun’s"dye vat"theory.
