Multi-headed monster,characterized by ferociousness and fierceness,exists in oral stories among folks in the area of national minorities.The stories are mainly told about the indomitable man’s resistance against himself and against the society.Starting from the inclement survival environment,the refraction of social life,and the association of deformed life,the writer of this article analyzes the social background of how multi-headed monster came into being in the minority areas.
