Combining with the survey of Shanyin power station, the paper explores the optimization design for buildings in the power station and the general layout scheme for factory areas, analyzes the coordination between the external space and the environment, illustrates the principle and treatment methods for the building style design for factory areas according to the main features for the buildings, so as to accumulate some experience for similar program construction of power stations.
