Theory and Advances of Microbial Desalination Cells

阐述了MDC的原理与研究进展,以及对与MDC相关的MFC、脱盐等技术的研究进展进行了综述,为今后MDC的科学研究与实际应用提供思路。

Based on Microbial fuel cell,Microbial desalination cell uses CEM and AEM between anode chamber and cathode chamber to form a middle chamber for desalination,which makes wastewater purification,salty water desalination,and power generation possible in one device at the same time.This paper focuses on the theory and progress in MDC,and the relating techniques,such as MFC and desalination,in order to provide ideas for further development of MDC technique.
