This paper discusses the relationship between "Tao" and language in Laozi's "Tao" and analyzes the four levels of "Tao": first,"Tao" as the "object" is at the experience level;second,"Tao" at the level of the "unspeakable";third,"Tao" as "negation" is an expression of "nothingness" and its nature;fourth,"Tao" at the level of transcending noumenon.
