Muo Ma at the Age of Seventeen,Huayao Bride and Honghe form a film trilogy about Honghe.From three different perspectives,the three films vividly depict the lives of three women from three ethnic groups in Honghe Hani-Yi Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan Province.The three films are typical of realistic style and a perfect combination of profound idea and artistry because they boldly reveal the survival worries of the minority groups in the borderland and depict the colorful minority customs and their feelings.
